Commitment: 3 days per week
Are you passionate about fashion, sustainability, and social media? We're on the lookout for a talented, dynamic, and creative individual to join Patcha, a fast-growing, London-based up-cycling brand that transforms garments destined for landfill into unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.
We're seeking a proactive Social Media & Production Intern to work alongside the founder, Chloe, three days a week. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a creative and entrepreneurial environment, contributing to both the content creation and operational sides of the business. You will play a vital role in bringing our sustainable fashion vision to life and launching products across social media and our eCommerce site.
Please note: Applicants must be enrolled in a university program / or just out of university seeking work experience. This internship offers the flexibility to work partially from home.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Social Media & Production Intern at Patcha, you’ll be involved in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
Production Support:
- Managing product samples: logging, stock counting, and tracking all new pieces.
- Prepping garments for studio shoots, events, and social media, including sorting, steaming, and styling.
- Overseeing stock for influencer collaborations.
- Conducting trend research: staying engaged with pop culture and fashion trends, and sharing insights with the founder and creative team.
- Sending out orders from our eCommerce site and ensuring efficient delivery processes.
- Administrative tasks: assisting with production-related errands, sourcing materials, and organising paperwork.
- Performing quality control (QC) checks on products.
- Keeping track of admin tasks and maintaining organised records.
Social Media & Content Creation:
- Owning and managing all social media activities, with a focus on Instagram and TikTok.
- Planning and executing creative content ideas.
- Generating new ideas for engaging social media campaigns.
- Reaching out to influencers for partnerships and collaborations.
- Assisting with email campaign creation and ideation.
Key Requirements:
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Currently enrolled at university or a recent graduate.
- Passionate about sustainability, fashion, and social media.
- Comfortable in front of the camera and willing to create styling videos or model for shoots if needed.
- Up-to-date on the latest social media trends and platforms.
- A self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Bonus:
- Some prior experience in fashion, content creation, or social media management.
- Ability to travel for events such as Christmas fairs and tradeshows.
Nitty gritty stuff
18 hour week, flexible
Monday - Thursday, flexible
£200 per month (if you attend Christmas fairs you will be paid additional hourly wage)
